Bears vs. Packers; a wedding
Chicago Wedding Films travelled to Green Bay, Wisconsin where Kate Hein, a Packer Fan and Paul Townsend, a Bear fan tie the knot in Green Bay on June 28, 2014. Kate and Paul met while both of them attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Ceremony
The Ceremony Mass was at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in De Pere, Wisconsin. The church had light streaming in from all sides on this beautiful, sunny day. Paul’s sister, Emily sang a special song during the ceremony, and Kate’s cousin played pre-Ceremony music on her violin. All the audio was recorded with a special feed from the Church’s audio system. Following the Mass we headed over to Lambeau Field Atrium where along with Adam Shea Photography, the Bridal Party posed for photos and did their own version of the “Lambeau Leap.”
The Reception
The Reception was held at the beautiful Oneida Golf and Country Club in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Outdoor imagery was captured on the lush grounds of the golf course followed by dinner and dancing. Highlights included the Groomsmen adding their favorite Packer/Bear jersey to their wardrobe just prior to the garter toss which had the garter wrapped in a small football. A Chicago Bear Groomsman/fan caught the lucky football. Was it a coincidence he plays wide receiver on his college football team? To finish off the Packer/Bear theme, Kate & Paul made a memorable exit from their reception. Watch till the end of the Highlight Film Trailer to see it!
